What's the best costume you've donned for Halloween?

Denise LaRosh ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“I was Pinocchio one year. I made the costume look like the Disney image of Pinocchio with red felt shorts, a big blue bowtie and, of course, nose putty for the nose. It worked. I wore it to a party and it was a hit.”
Amanda Altenhofen ( in Tonganoxie) says...
“This year, I wnt as Velma from ‘Scooby Doo.’ I haven't dressed up in quite a few years, so this might be the best. Thanks to Internet shopping, I was able to order the turtleneck, red skirt and dorky socks. The rest of my family dressed as the other characters. We enjoyed going out and solving some mysteries.”
