“I think technology is a bittersweet gain. Yes, it’s fantastic in cases like medical or scientific advances. But I feel like my generation, the people younger than 25, are at a loss. We’ve essentially had everything handed to us. Everything is now available at the touch of a button, and to be honest, that may not be a good thing later on.”
Blake Waters (Basehor / Piper market president for First State Bank & Trust in Basehor) says...
“Modern technology has been a great blessing to us. Our family lives far away and we are able to use the smartphone, Skype, Facebook, email and text messaging to stay in close touch with those we love. Professionally, it is a tool that assists us in providing on-time-as-agreed service to our clients. The accessibility does make it very difficult to leave work at the office.”
