Boy Scouts from Troop 169 of Basehor pose in the Mount Rushmore Visitor Center after the closing ceremonies of the recently attended Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch, southwest of Rapid City, S.D. At the camp, in addition to earning many merit badges and learning scouting skills, the 13 scouts participated in climbing, mountain biking, COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) and caving. The last night the scouts participated in the closing flag ceremony at Mount Rushmore. On the way back to camp they had the opportunity to witness a rare nighttime blast at the Crazy Horse Monument. They had so much fun that several have expressed interest in returning to this camp as staff members for the 2009 season.
