On Thursday, students from MacArthur Elementary School, including Torris, the school's therapy dog, walk around the Normandy Field track at Fort Leavenworth waiving American flags during the annual Freedom Walk to commemorate Sept. 11, 2001. Students from Bradley and Eisenhower elementary schools and students from Patton Junior High School, also participated.
