Bren Koontz, Basehor-Linwood senior, puts up a shot during a recent game against Lansing. Koontz rewrote the BLHS record books last week when she tied coach Noah Simpson’s school record with seven 3-pointers in one game. Then on Friday she set a single-game scoring record with 35 points.

On Tuesday, Feb. 17, Bren Koontz poured in seven 3-pointers against Santa Fe Trail, tying BLHS girls basketball coach Noah Simpson’s school record for treys made in a game.
