The grand opening of Golden China Restaurant in Basehor Town Square, 15510 State Ave. Suite 6A, was Feb. 11. Pablo Quintana is the owner, but he works in Iowa, so the restaurant will be run by his son, Reuben Alcantara, and his wife, Miriam Torrijos. Reuben brings 20 years of experience to the business. Golden China’s hours are: lunch, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Sunday; dinner, 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 3 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Golden China has both eat-in and carryout and can be reached at (913) 662-7400 or (913) 514-2667.
