6News meteorologist Matt Elwell chats with Basehor residents during a commercial break at Wednesday's Main Street Live show at Basehor City Park. Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 in Lawrence broadcast its 6 p.m. newscast Wednesday, continuing its Main Street Live show in which it visits area communities and has a live newscast from each community. The show will be in Tonganoxie soon. Festivities are to begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 outside Tonganoxie High School.
