Bill Golden, Basehor VFW Post surgeon, ladles gravy onto Basehor resident Ron Milbourn’s plate at the VFW Post’s community Thanksgiving dinner Saturday afternoon. About 150 people came through the buffet line during the dinner, post commander Fred Box said. Senior citizens received their meals for free.

The Basehor VFW Post 11499 will offer its annual free Thanksgiving dinner for senior citizens at 2 p.m. Saturday at the post building, 2805 N. 155th St.
