Allison Budimlija reads from "The Exquisite Wedding of Q and U" by Kathleen Pederson Friday morning to her kindergarten class at Glenwood Ridge Elementary School. On Friday, dubbed "'QU' Day" in the GRES kindergarten classrooms, girls came dressed as queens and boys dressed as quarterbacks as students celebrated the phonic union of the two letters.
