BLHS coach Steve Hopkins greets Linda and Lewis Kasselman before Friday’s game at Bonner Springs. A moment of silence was held for Brendon Kasselman, who passed away earlier this year after a battle with cancer. More than $5,000 was raised for a scholarship fund in his name, and both teams gathered to remember Kasselman with friends and family on the field at David Jaynes Stadium.
