Basehor Memorial Day Ceremony
The Basehor Veterans of Foreign Wars lined 155th Street with flags and placed flags by veterans' graves Friday at Glenwood Cemetery. They performed the traditional Memorial Day ceremony Monday afternoon at the cemetery.
Basehor Veterans of Foreign Wars members (left to right) Mike Kline, Leo Kreutzer, Phil Jenkins, Pat Fletcher, Ed Bush, David Sweeny and Bill Golden made up the rifle squad during Monday's Memorial Day ceremony at Glenwood Cemetery. The group, instructed by Hank Nahrebeski (not pictured), performed a 21-gun salute before the flag was raised to full staff.
