Bonner Springs Braves Football Camp July 1, 2009

The camp for third- through sixth-graders took place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and focused on teaching the fundamentals of football while also mixing in scrimmages.

Lew Kasselman, Bonner Springs High School football coach, instructs about 25 players who turned out for the camp for third- through sixth-graders on Friday at David Jaynes Stadium. Kasselman was in charge of the camp, but he had help from a handful of BSHS players who also instructed participants in speed and agility drills and helped coach during scrimmages.
