Polar Plunge makes a splash at Shawnee Mission Park
Participants took to the water for a good cause Saturday, Jan. 28, during the 2012 Polar Plunge at Shawnee Mission Park Lake. The annual event raises money for Special Olympics of Kansas. The weather was 41 degrees and sunny, but brisk wind made for a frigid day.
