BLHS junior Cory McCleary defeated BSHS sophomore Bryan Lanning to start the Bobcat Classic, but fell in his second match to Fort Scott's Jacob Durossette.

In all, 36 teams will be represented in the two-day tournament with nine ranked by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association and four ranked out-of-state programs.
