25th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The community gathered Monday at the First Christian Church for the 25th annual Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, which was themed "When the Children Marched" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Children's Crusade in the Birmingham Civil Rights Movement. The event included performances from local students and a keynote speech from First Christian pastor Margi Colerick.
