The Knights of Columbus stand guard as Abbot Barnabas Senecal leads Mass at Holy Angels Cemetery.

Grace Himpel, who attended the Memorial Day service with her mother, Jackie Himpel, found a gravestond that was just the right height for her to sit on. Grace is 14 months old.

Members of the Knights of Columbus participated in the blessing of the angels. Here they stand near a cherub, which symbolizes the unborn. The Knights of Columbus paid for the carving of this statue. Russell Ehart, a Springdale native, carved this statue, and two others in the cemetery, last fall.

The tall angels, carved from 115-year-old Norweigan pines that died, were paid for by the Holy Angels Cemetery Association. Russell Ehart, a native of Springdale, carved the angels.
