Two new Basehor restaurants spring up

@stvclay.....Maybe you were there on an off night for your waitress. I have been to Shark's Cove several times, and each time the food, the service, and the atmosphere, were consistently GREAT! Shark's Cove is a wonderful option for Basehor residents and I encourage all to go.

Just copy link info., paste, search and read. Please note, Garrison Development, and Mark Bruer are the same individuals involved the last time; probably the same proposal. Anyone interested should attend meeting.

Basehor residents raise questions about proposed low-income apartments

Good point "jgreen1515", regarding "jabbing" and I can see how my comment would be perceived as jabbing at the residents of Falcon Lakes. For that I apologize to the residents of Falcon Lakes. I know MANY in Falcon Lakes who are good people with all the right intentions and motives. I do stand by my opinion regarding Garrison development, their proposal and that the council must vote "no" regarding supporting the same. I also think for the council to approve any type of reduction, rebate, or City financing, regarding sewer hookup fees for Country Place Senior Living is questionable. Everyone should be treated the same regarding payment of fees, and there should always be an open information policy regarding who is associated with whom and is benefiting from all decisions.

Basehor residents raise questions about proposed low-income apartments

If the Citizens of Basehor want to truly know what Garrison Development is capable of, then they should simply go Google Maps and look at the address for Fairfax Bluff Apartments in Kansas City, KS. 3176 W Parkwood Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66104. WOW AWESOME! Zoom in on the "playground"...nice, huh? With a little work, you can also find all the crime stats for that address. Rest assured, the Falcon Lakes, mayor supporting crew wouldn't want that "complex" near their homes. The entire city of Basehor should be aware and band together against this ridiculous assertion that Garrison Development wants to improve our town. They want to line their pockets only. Also, it's curious to note that Mark Breuer chimed in on this proposal when he was supposed to be there for the request regarding a reduced sewer connection fee. Mark Breuer directly related to David Breuer requesting to benefit while his relative sits on the council. History repeats itself to the detriment of the City of Basehor. Get involved, or get screwed.
