the only thing you accomplish when you continue to post rude and boorish comments is to make anyother post you have seem unworthy.

the only embarrassment i saw was the mayors. he acted like a spoiled brat. as i have stated in other threads. mr washington has and had the right to be heard. having the chief of police/city admin try to bully him should be a crime. this is the sort of thing our nation and our laws were founded to prevent. if i were the chief i would have refused to interrupt a citizen just to satisfy the mayors ego and hidden agenda. mayor hill showed his true skin lastnite. i for one am glad there were many others there to see it.

Questions and answers on Feb. 28 Basehor recall election

i would say that ch 5 covered it pretty well. mayor hill asking a police chief to restrain and remove a citizen from speaking at a public forum. where are we iran the former soviet union? mr washington had and has the right if not duty to voice his concerns and question any government body. it is exactly this kind of leadership the city does not need. it was a desperate act for the mayor to ask chief martley to stop mr washington from speaking on a matter which concerns all the residents of basehor. when truth and justice fail all that will be left is brutish force like we saw last night.

im a lot more informed than you are. mark loughry and terry hill belong in prison. if they really felt the contract was mis worded. they had every chance to bring the changes to the council for a vote on amendment. they did no such thing. they did however break many laws be hiding from public view and wrongfuly altering it without the councils approval. why did they do this? the answer is simple. they knew they were lying and that they had no chance of getting it passed. that makes them criminals.
