Jim Dickey, captain with the Fairmount Township Fire Department, watches as Dan Tallman, Sherman Township Fire Department chief, reaches into the crawlspace of a home in the 300 block of Main Street in Linwood to see if the insulation is still smoldering. A neighbor who attempted to put out the fire said it started when a space heater ignited some insulation in the home’s crawlspace.
