Leavenworth County Humane Society spay and neuter transport program
February 18, 2011
Leavenworth County Humane Society president Crystal Swann Blackdeer discusses the society's monthly low-cost spay and neuter transport program and shows some of the cats and dogs waiting to be picked up Friday morning in the Community Room at Reece & Nichols in Basehor. The program moves to a different city in the county each month and allows area residents to bring in dogs or cats to be spayed or neutered at a reduced cost — even more reduced for feral or barn cats.
