Cheney holds off Basehor-Linwood in semifinals

Defending state champion Cheney held Basehor-Linwood to 27.3 percent shooting, and the Cardinals held off the Bobcats 35-31 in the Class 4A state semifinals Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Bicentennial Center in Salina.
