Southeastern Sedgwick County in south central Kansas...
Southwestern Butler County in south central Kansas...
* Until 415 AM CDT
* At 1015 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wichita, Derby, Andover, Haysville, Augusta, Park City, Bel Aire,
Mulvane, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize, Clearwater, Douglass, Colwich,
Downtown Wichita, Eastborough, West Wichita, Eisenhower National
Airport, Northeast Wichita and East Wichita.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 0 and 12.
Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 34 and 64.
