The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday
evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 021, 022, 023, 024, 034, 035,
036, 037, 038, 039, 054, 055, and 058. This includes the area
generally along and west of highway 75, and along and south of
I-70.
* WIND...A strong front will bring northwest winds near 25 mph
with gusts near 35 mph by mid day, and continue into the
afternoon hours.
* HUMIDITY...Relative humidities will drop to around 25 percent,
with some locations dropping near 20 percent.
* IMPACTS...Fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
