* IMPACT...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW...ALONG WITH AREAS OF BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW...IS RESULTING IN POOR VISIBILITIES AND
HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. NEAR-BLIZZARD CONDITIONS ARE
OCCURRING IN PARTS OF THE AREA.
* TIMING...FOR MOST OF THE AREA...THE HEAVIEST SNOW HAS ALREADY
FALLEN...WITH A GRADUAL DECREASE IN INTENSITY EXPECTED THROUGH

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A WIDE RANGE IS LIKELY ACROSS THIS
AREA...FROM NO MORE THAN 2 INCHES IN THE MITCHELL COUNTY KANSAS
AREA...TO AS MUCH AS 8 TO 11 INCHES IN COUNTIES FARTHER NORTH
AND WEST.
* WINDS / VISIBILITIES...REMAINING QUITE STRONG THROUGH THE DAY
OUT OF A NORTHERLY DIRECTION...WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF
GENERALLY 25 TO 35 MPH...AND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH. SPEEDS WILL
VERY GRADUALLY DECREASE THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT...AVERAGING 10
