FRIDAY EVENING...SPREADING OVER THE ENTIRE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT.
AFTER A BRIEF PRECIPITATION LULL...SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE
THROUGH SUNDAY WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW FALLING SATURDAY NIGHT.
FORECAST SNOW AMOUNTS RANGE FROM A FEW INCHES AT NORTON...MCCOOK
AND HILL CITY TO 10 INCHES AT FLAGLER AND CHEYENNE WELLS. LIGHT
WINDS THROUGHOUT THE EVENT SHOULD LEAD TO ONLY MINOR BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW. HOWEVER...HEAVIER BANDS OF SNOW WILL REDUCE
VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN ONE MILE.
STAY INFORMED ABOUT THIS SITUATION...ESPECIALLY IF YOU PLAN TO
TRAVEL SATURDAY NIGHT ON INTERSTATE 70. RANCHERS SHOULD ALSO TAKE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT THEIR YOUNG LIVESTOCK AS THE COLD...WET
SNOW WILL STRESS NEWBORN CALVES.
