COOL THROUGH MIDDAY. THESE CLOUDS WILL BEGIN TO CLEAR FROM WEST TO
EAST DURING THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY
REBOUND INTO THE 90S...AND WITH HIGH DEWPOINTS IN PLACE...HEAT
INDICES QUICKLY RISING TOWARDS 100 DEGREES OR SLIGHTLY HIGHER
REMAINS POSSIBLE. SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN TO ARRIVE
ON SUNDAY.

* HEAT INDEX: HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 AND 105 WILL BE POSSIBLE
LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
* IMPACTS: THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND INCREASED
HUMIDITY WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASED RISK OF HEAT RELATED STRESS
AND ILLNESS. THE YOUNG AND ELDERLY...THOSE WITHOUT AIR
CONDITIONING...AND THOSE PARTICIPATING IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE EXTENDED HOLIDAY WEEKEND WILL BE
THE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE EFFECTS OF THE HEAT.
