...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO NOON CST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow occurring. Very cold wind chills expected. Numerous
accidents have occurred due to snow covered roads. Additional
snow accumulations of up to one inch is expected. Expect wind
chills to range from 5 above zero to 20 below zero.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas and central, east central,
south central, southwest and west central Missouri.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until noon CST today.
For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to noon
CST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
times. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little
as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
