Butler County in southeastern Missouri...
* Until 930 AM CST Friday
* At 325 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms with heavy rain over
the area. Repeat rains over already saturated ground will result
in flooding. Up to two inches of rain has already fallen just
since Thursday evening.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Poplar Bluff, Sikeston, Dexter, Charleston, Scott City,
Portageville, East Prairie, New Madrid, Chaffee, Cairo, Doniphan,
Bernie, Bloomfield, Advance, Oran, Lilbourn, Miner, Benton.
Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch are possible in the
warned area through the morning as waves of rain continue to
train over the same area.
