BARRY COUNTIES UNTIL 730 PM CDT...
At 604 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking severe thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Delaware to near Peggs in
Oklahoma. Movement was east at 45 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph and frequent cloud to ground lightning
may be possible with these storms later this evening across far
southwestern Missouri. There have been reports of damaging wind
gusts around the Tulsa area in northeast Oklahoma with these storms.
These storms are also producing almost continuous cloud to ground
Boaters on area lakes and rivers like Table Rock Lake should monitor
radar and stay weather aware for strong storms possible late this
evening between 8 pm through midnight.
Campers along local rivers and campgrounds across southwest Missouri
should monitor radar and stay weather aware for possible warnings
later this evening.
